Introduction to EHR Palmer Practice Test

Adding diagnosis or assessment codes to a referral is done with the Add action. This button or option triggers the system to attach the selected codes to the referral, linking them to that specific referral for the receiving clinician. Entering the patient name identifies who the referral is for but doesn’t modify the codes. Clicking OK typically confirms what you’ve chosen but doesn’t introduce new codes by itself. Saving preserves whatever data is currently on the referral, but the codes are added when you use Add.
